Style :India Pale Ale (IPA)
ABV : 7.5
CL : 50
Country : Grimstad, Norway
Brewery : Nogne Ø (Hansa Borg)

This Indian Pale Ale has been named after the hops used for brewing it. Nogne Ø decided to create a beer that could be enjoyed during the summer season by using the new Australian hops called Vic Secret. These hops are grown in the state of Victoria in Australia usually abbreviated as Vic.

This Vic Secret IPA has a golden and hazy color with a fine white head that lasts for a few seconds. The aroma is sweet and hoppy, it has some tropical fruits, caramel, citrus, yeast, pine and herbs. In your mouth you will perceive a series of refreshing flavors: grapefruit, tropical fruits, citrus, light caramel and herbs. It also has a nice bitterness and a moderate sweetness. But then it leaves you with a dry and malty finish that lingers. This IPA has a medium body and a light carbonation. This is actually a smooth beer.

If you are curious enough to try new flavors, here you have a very interesting one. Vic Secret IPA is recommended to beer enthusiasts who are willing to try beers brewed with exotic hops.
